HISTORY OF
FOSL Studio

About the Founder

I’m Natalie Pearse, founder of FOSL Studio. Growing up in Hong Kong, Dubai, and now England gave me a rich cultural awareness that inspires my multidisciplinary approach to design. From illustration and printmaking to motion graphics and branding, my work blends traditional craft with digital experimentation.

I’ve collaborated with companies such as Robin Creative Media and Growling Gibbon, and my art has reached over 1.7 million views on Instagram. Currently studying Graphic Communication at Winchester School of Art, I am expanding my knowledge of typography, layout, and digital design. My goal is to collaborate with creatives through timeless branding — telling meaningful stories that connect people and leave a lasting impression.

How did FOSL Studio evolve?

FOSL Studio began as a university project where I explored the long‑term health impacts of energy drinks made with synthetic ingredients. This led to the creation of FOSL FUEL, a conceptual healthy energy drink brand designed to investigate how branding influences behaviour.

From that foundation, FOSL Studio grew into a creative practice focused on branding and storytelling. The logo evolved from a Nautilus to a minimal spiral shell, symbolising growth, continuity, and timeless design.
